Quiet desperation

I take a breath and i can feel the oxygen going from nose to throat
From throat to lungs from lungs to heart and body, but I know it’s all a facade.
The sparkle in my eye is dead and has been for a while
My motivations, dreams and aspirations all wilted because my brain has a funny way of telling me to go fuck myself because I’m not good enough.
I walk around my house but sometimes I can’t even hear my feet because I’m nothing but a ghost to some people.
Some thing dead and gone because history is nothing but dry bones.
I stay locked in my room because I know a dead body is confined to it’s coffined.
